Instead, I found myself struggling to gather all my locs, fighting to pull them through the loop, and still not getting the fit I wanted. It was either too tight, too loose, or just too much work.
In that moment, I knew there had to be an easier way.
I wanted something simple. Something that gave me control. Something I could wrap around my hair, secure in place, and move on with my night without the hassle.
That frustration became the spark.
